Ruth is the great (multiply by “x”) grand daughter of the man who created The Diavangeus Academy. The gift of being a Diavangeus still runs in her family till this day. Many generations of the Diavangeus have been all males and but oddly enough it stops at Ruth. The Sophronia Family has always had many sons that carry on the Diavangeus gift. Only one child in that family can be the next Diavangeus. Because Ruth is a female AND the Diavangeus, she is looked down upon by her families. Out of the three older brothers she has, she was chosen to be the next Diavangeus. Her father believes that only males can qualify for this job. Feeling ashamed that her daughter was the next Diavangeus, he leaves the family and changes his name.
During Ruth’s childhood, she always looked up to her brothers. They were so nice to her, and protected her from every danger. One of them was a Validen, the other a Lyrixan, and the last one an Aireian. There were the “Triplets of Diavangeus”, as everyone would say. They were kind hearted and loved by everyone. But all of that changed one day. The family was still unsure of what their daughter’s class was going to be. Validen? Lyrixan? Aireian? Or…Diavangeus….? Impossible, they all thought. She was a female and only males can receive this gift.
Ruth was discovered of her gift when she turned 7. She was outside and noticed a shadow near the (Celestia) forest. She wanted to follow him. She really did. So she followed the strange man in the beautiful white cape and suddenly she was in the middle of the forest. Suddenly, she was standing in front of the very first Diavangeus, Slade Sophronia. He looked at her with the most softest and warm-hearted eyes that Ruth has ever seen. She couldn’t stop looking at him. She didn’t exactly know who he was though. Before even thinking, she asks “Who are you?” as she brings a big smile upon her face. Slade didn’t answer and takes her hand. Unsure of what to do, Ruth pulls back. He tries again and Ruth holds on this time. She feels as though she knows him, so she can trust him, right? He then brings up his other free hand and brings it in front of him. He says something, but Ruth didn’t understand what he said. In an instant, a huge barrier appears all around them and suddenly disappears. He looks at Ruth again and looks as though he was waiting for something. “M-Me?” Does he want her to trying doing that? She lifts her free hand up and manages a barrier that wasn’t as big as Slade’s but was big enough to cover the both of them. He smiles. Ruth felt kinda embarrassed but kinda proud of herself. After that, Slade guides her through several other techniques and abilities like how to seal and how to fight. By the time he taught her how to fight, he takes out a sword. Ruth felt a sudden panic and backs away. Slade stops and pauses for a moment and then points a finger at her. He opens his mouth and speaks. “It is okay. You are Diavangeus.” He smiles that warm smile. His voice was like a soft, sweet melody that you must stop and listen to. Ruth slowly nods. He takes out the sword again and goes down on one knee. He brings up the sword as if he were presenting it to her. “Yours, Diavangeus. Protect, battle, and seal. Believe.” He says. Ruth was mesmerised by the sword. It was as though it belonged to her. She took it by the handle and held it close. Slade looks up at her, and smiles again, but this time it was a much sadder smile. “Good luck, Ruth.” His last words before he disappeared. Suddenly she was in the middle of the forest sitting down, with the weapon beside her. It wasn’t a dream? She was thrilled. She wanted to tell her parents about it, so she ran towards home with the sword in her arms.
“Mommy, Daddy! I met someone today!” She exclaims. “Haha, and who was it? Uncl--“ Her father stops and stares at her with horrified eyes. No, not at her. It was the sword. Ruth looks down to see what her father was looking at. Her sword? Oh, she better tell them about that too! “Hehe, I got this from—“ SLAP. She drops the sword and freezes in shock. The whole room is silenced but a loud clash breaks it. “Im…possible….it can’t be….” Her father falls to his knees. “WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP? ARE YOU TELLING ME MY DAUGHTER IN THE NEXT DIAVANGEUS?” He yells as he throws everything off the table. Suddenly the three brothers come in and the all stare at the sword. Ruth, confused, scared, and ready to cry, tries to run out of the room. Her brothers block her and she looks up at them and sees two pairs of serious, deadly eyes. “Don’t ever ask for our help ever again.”
They stare at her and push her away and leave the room. The last one, the Validen brother, stays back and helps her up but left right after she got up. “I’m sorry.” He says. And so after a few nights and days, Ruth notices a change in her mother. She kept ignoring her and cried a lot. Her mom and dad have been fighting almost every night too. The very next day after another loud argue, Ruth sees her father packing up and getting ready to leave.
“Daddy, are you going somewhere?” “……..”
And so Ruth’s life slowly changes. She knows her father will never come back. She hopes to find him one day and tell him how great she is as the current Diavangeus. Two of her brothers looks down on her and tell her what to do as a Diavangeus or everyone will be doomed and it will be her fault. They don’t treat her like their little sister anymore. The Validen brother still loves her and treats her nicely but when he’s with the other brothers he doesn’t do much. Her mother is always depressed but makes an effort to smile for her Ruth. When finding teachers for the Diavangeus academy, all three of the brothers refused to help her. AND SOOO THAT IS IT. GEEZ. –slaps- lolol no. XD EHEHE YEAH IT'S LONG. XD |
